MadeSolid is a hardware company that develops high-quality materials with 3D printing applications. With a team of experienced chemists and engineers, the MadeSolid develops functional materials for 3D Manufacturing real products. MadeSolid is based in Emeryville, California.

Maple Materials, Inc. (Richmond, California) develops a low-cost electrolysis process to split carbon dioxide into graphite and oxygen. Due to several unique features of our production process and product, we have potential to produce battery-grade graphite anode material one-third the cost of current graphite anode materials. When powered by renewables, this process has the potential to be carbon negative.

Maritime Fusion is building HTS (high-temperature superconducting) fusion reactors for defense and commercial shipping applications. Breakeven fusion is coming soon, but the first-of-a-kind (FOAK) reactors will be costly, high maintenance, and have low capacity factors, leading to 5–10x higher electricity cost on the grid. Maritime Fusion is pursuing the most widely accepted approach to fusion, the tokamak, but specifically designed for the marine environment where the challenges that arise between breakeven and a commercially viable energy source are alleviated. The market we're targeting requires 15x less power, lower up-time, and costs the same as alternative fuels but without any emissions. Since fusion does not use highly radioactive fuels or materials – unlike fission – we sidestep the vast majority of regulatory challenges and safety risks associated with nuclear energy. Our team brings over a decade of industry and research experience in plasma physics, nuclear engineering, and electrical engineering with backgrounds at SpaceX, Tesla, Columbia University, and University of Pennsylvania.

Maverick Metals is a chemical technology company advancing metal processing. The company was founded by Eric Herrera, former Department of Defense scientist, and Jesse Evans, former startup operations manager. We've developed a new chemical process to efficiently extract lithium and copper from hard rock deposits. Our custom process is greener, more energy efficient, and cost effective compared to the current methods of extracting lithium and copper. We're currently developing partnerships with mining companies to further the commercialization of our technology.

May Mobility is a leader in autonomous vehicle technology development and deployment. With more than 300,000 autonomous rides to date, May Mobility is committed to delivering safe, efficient and sustainable shuttle solutions designed to complement today’s public transportation options. The company’s ultimate goal is to realize a world where self-driving systems make transportation more accessible and reliable, the roads safer, and encourage better land use in order to foster more green, vibrant, and livable spaces.

It is cumbersome to maintain/repair vehicles in Africa. Vehicle owners currently have 2 options to choose from; very expensive and geographically limited branded mechanic garages (less than 1% of the supply pool) or unvetted roadside mechanics (about 99% of the supply pool). About 95% of vehicle owners cannot afford branded garages where quality and reliable service delivery can be guaranteed and thus rely on roadside mechanics. However, low quality and transparency are typical issues associated with roadside mechanics. We created a network of vetted mechanics, spare part vendors and an app that enables easy booking, payment and mechanic matching process. Via the mecho app, a customer or business can make a request for any automobile service (repairs or regular servicing) or part.

Mineflow is an AI platform for mineral exploration. We generate predictions for mineral deposit shapes and locations, empowering mining companies from initial exploration to advanced feasibility studies. Geologists need to know precisely where their deposits are because drilling is expensive. In early trials with a lithium mining company, we found that Mineflow predicts the shape of hard rock lithium deposits more than an order of magnitude more accurately than our competitors. Ryan received a BS in Artificial Intelligence from Carnegie Mellon's School of Computer Science where he helped teach both the grad-level Deep Learning course and the grad-level Search Engines course. He built ML models at Google in the Display Ads optimization org for 2 years and launched products that generated ~125m USD in ARR.

We're building an AI powered platform for engineers that are building new robots and machines. We allow users to invent and modify machine designs in a matter of minutes, not years. Ayna and Andy, the co-founders, met during their time at Harvard and started this in 2024 as their programs were wrapping up. We're commercializing 10+ years research done by our team at Harvard and MIT on this space. Our team wrote the very first papers on applying GenAI and optimization algorithms to compose robots from parts and applying computational design to fine tune machine designs. We're bringing in our deep knowledge of modifying equipment and integrating it into factories keenly understanding what makes hardware hard. We take in parts under consideration, constraints and tasks at hand and our algorithm formulates and fine tunes from 100s of possible design options. All in a few clicks, so engineers can push hardware to market faster and companies can benefit from the inventions being done by their R&D teams. We already have two paying customers in the OEM and system integrator spaces. We are venture backed and supported by a GBP 2.5MM grant by ARIA, the UK Government's invention agency.

The traditional manufacturing process for individualized drugs is extremely slow and expensive, because it is based on manual labor. At Multiply Labs, we believe that robotics is the only way to truly scale the production of individualized drugs - finally providing these life-saving therapies to the millions of patients who need them. We develop cloud-controlled modular robotic systems that manufacture individualized drugs, and we deploy these systems in the facilities of our pharma customers. This is pharma robotics as a service: we sell the robotic production capacity that our customers need to scale their next-gen individualized drugs.

In the home services industry, field technicians are expected to handle three key tasks: diagnosing issues, making sales, and completing paperwork. It's rare to find individuals who excel at all three. We build AI agents to support technicians by improving diagnostic accuracy and helping them capture sales opportunities.

Navier AI is making CFD 1000x faster with their ML-based solver. Physics simulations, such as Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), are essential across many industries ranging from the design and analysis of aircraft, to weather prediction, to the development of medical devices. Today’s simulation tools use explicit numerical solvers for physical equations, such as the Naiver-Stokes equations. These solvers are complex to setup and can take ages to produce results. Navier AI is building 1000x faster simulations using physics-ML solvers. Navier AI's fast CFD platform will enable engineers to quickly explore design spaces and perform analysis-in-the-loop design optimization. They are lowering the barrier to entry for aerospace and mechanical engineers to create high performance designs.

Nexa is developing the solution for cattle monitoring, leveraging implantable microchips that collect more comprehensive biometrics than anything else on the market. Our accompanying AI-driven animal health engine empowers farmers with early disease detection, reproductive insights, GPS tracking, and more. We're saving farmers time and money while collecting the world's largest cattle health dataset. We believe that cattle farming should be a science, not an art - this will secure the world's food supply and increase economic output that billions of people depend on.

NextDrop is a for-profit enterprise with a social mission- we want to rid the world of its water problems. It’s not a big deal. We think it can be done. And what we’ve managed to achieve so far only reaffirms our belief. NextDrop was founded in 2011 with a pilot in Hubli-Dharwad district of Karnataka. Four years later, we have 70,000 users registered with us across Karnataka. Our vision is simple- we want to link the private sector, government utilities and citizens to create an endless loop of timely service provision and feedback collection, and bridge all the gaps in between. And to do this, we try to harness the latest, cutting edge technology. Water is our mission. Data is our business. NextDrop crowdsources water data and creates algorithms and visualizations to improve urban water distribution across emerging markets. Urban residents can get a text message an hour before water arrives, if water supply is cancelled, or if there is contamination or low pressure present in the pipe network. On the utility side, engineers get a live feed on problems arising in the distribution system, so they can tackle issues in real time.
