Orderli is tableside ordering for bars and pubs in Europe. Orderli works without downloading an app, guests can scan a QR code on the table, browser the menu and order what they want. For the staff we provide a simple app which gives them a better overview who is ordering and control of the orders that are sent to the kitchen. In the backend we use predictions to recommend restaurant owners what to purchase and make changes to the menu in real-time.

Origami Therapeutics, Inc. is a biotech company developing novel protein degraders with potential to delay or halt disease progression by eliminating toxic proteins from the body. Our drug discovery platform leverages our proprietary human disease models developed to select the small molecules with the best chance of clinical success. Our first indication is Huntington’s disease, a debilitating, progressive and ultimately fatal disorder caused by a genetic mutation. We have already identified small molecules that reduce the toxic mutated protein, suppress mutant protein-induced toxicities in human disease neurons and get into the brain. We anticipate that this approach will be broadly applicable to traditionally “undruggable” targets in other neurological diseases.
Origin built a kiosk for offices that lets employees buy pre-packed pods from a freezer, and make them into fresh juice smoothies silently in 30 seconds. It works similar to a Keurig coffee machine, but Origin thinks it can use its smoothie maker as a Trojan horse to sell more food and other items inside the 188,000 offices in the US. Right now it earns a 56% margin on the $2.99 pods, recoups the kiosk cost in 7 weeks, and now has $30,000 in monthly recurring revenue as it grows 50% weekly. Fellow juice maker startup Juicero has run into slow demand for its expensive machine and juice subscriptions. But Origin’s in-office commerce model and cheaper pods could have a different fate if the juice tastes right.

We cover everything from global poverty to natural disasters, education and health; we have 3405 charts across 297 topics. Our World in Data is free, open-source and provided as a public good. It has millions of users every month, and is cited in research and media across the world every day. This allows millions of people to understand the large problems the world is facing, and how we can solve them.
OurMenu provides an online food ordering service. The company replaces ordering from a waiter with ordering from a website. OurMenu wants to let its users to order from phone instead of talking to a waiter, without downloading an app. Users can scan a QR code on the table, choose their food, order and pay, and then the food is brought tothem. OurMenu plans to charge restaurants $300 per month for the tech, and will aggregate the menu choice data to sell back to them.
