About Us Volumetric is a recognized world leader in building living multicellular tissues, with a focus on replicating discrete functions of the human body for basic mechanistic biology, laboratory testing and screening, and drug development. Founded in 2018 by Bagrat Grigoryan and Jordan Miller as a spin-out from Rice University, the full potential of our work is to build whole human organ replacements for patients, made from their own cells. Our Technology and Approach We have invented a suite of breakthrough 3D bioprinting technologies, featured on the cover of Science, that can build human tissue with complex blood vessel networks. We are leveraging this technology in the short term to build patient-specific tissues for drug safety and efficacy testing. Patient cells are taken from a biopsy, added to our proprietary 3D printed tissues, and then drug compounds are injected through the blood vessel network to mimic actual drug delivery in humans. Our vision is that our technology will provide rigorous, reproducible, and predictive outcomes for patients, resulting in drastically improved outcomes for diseases like cancer. More broadly, we see the full potential of our mission as being able to produce functional tissue and organ replacements for diseased or damaged vital organs in the body such as the lung, liver, pancreas, kidney, and heart.

We’re using open-source software, off-the-shelf hardware, and modern product engineering to make elections dramatically safer, more accessible, and more affordable. Affordability may sound pedestrian, but it is key. The front line of America’s election security rests in the hands of the 50% of US counties that struggle to afford basic services, let alone upgrade aging voting equipment.

VoxOps automates up to 80% of their inbound and outbound calls, whilst automating downstream workflows.
Voxli offers browser-based group voice chat for gamers and teams. Users of Voxli can voice chat with up to 200 people at a time without leaving the browser or setting up a voice server. Each group voice chat exists at a persistent URL, which can be shared with friends via email or IM. Voxli works on Windows and Mac, and supports push-to-talk (walkie talkie) functionality outside of the browser. Voxli is currently free while it is in open beta.
Vulcan uses AI to map every law, regulation, and court case in America, allowing government agencies and businesses to replace massive consulting projects with instant automated analyses. We call this "intelligent legal cartography." In 3 months, we went from zero customers to Virginia's Executive Order 51, requiring all state agencies to use Vulcan. We are now live with the U.S. Department of Education, a regulatory reform PAC in South Carolina, and have a pipeline of several additional state and federal agencies and major enterprises. Our initial agency partners use legal cartography to draft lawful regulations, respond to public comments on regulations, and instantly generate mandatory cost-benefit analyses. We have both public and private sector visions. In the public sector: we endeavor to automate the entire regulatory process end-to-end; replacing the consulting industrial complex with software. In the private sector: we plan to automate regulatory compliance, tackling the $4 trillion regulatory cost on the U.S. economy.

We come with pre-built building blocks: Integrations (Gmail, Gcal, Github, Jira, etc.), SSO and AI tools (Websearch, Summarization etc.) so anyone in a company can build and launch internal AI-powered apps. Vibe coding is dramatically lowering the barrier for non-technical users to create full web apps. Lovable, Replit, Bolt, Google, Canva, Figma all launched their vibe-coding platforms. People love them. They're great for prototyping, but it's difficult to roll out inside a company for internal use cases for those reasons: 1. Data: If you want to connect your existing data (e.g. Salesforce, Gmail, Jira), you'd need to rebuild the API auth, pagination, etc. 2. SSO: If you build 20 apps, you'll have 20 different logins 3. Security: AI-built apps have massive risk of exposing data, especially if built by non developers So companies are stuck in the old world: clunky spreadsheets, rigid SaaS solutions or complex no-code tools. Time to build!
